Nicole Martin is a Research Associate in the Expanding Pathways in Computing (EPIC) division of The University of Texas at Austin’s Texas Advanced Computing Center. As a STEM education researcher and evaluator, she works on a wide range of projects focused on addressing issues of equity and broadening participation of historically marginalized groups in STEM. Nicole serves as an external evaluator for multiple NSF and NASA-funded projects aimed at supporting and increasing the diversity of students pursuing degrees and careers in STEM. Her expertise is in learning sciences, with current research focused on equity in computer science education and teacher professional learning. Nicole earned a PhD in educational psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
