Cherie Avent is an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She holds a PhD in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a focus on program evaluation. Her research focuses on issues of justice and equity, communication, and STEM education evaluation.
