Pennie Foster-Fishman, Ph.D., Robert Long, Ph.D. Yes we can! was the W. K. Kellogg Foundation’s effort to improve educational and economic outcomes in Battle Creek, Mich. Results include more resident involvement, stronger neighborhood associations, and more organizations engaging residents. However, the scale of wins remains small and the targeted, systemic changes have not emerged.
