Webinar Description:

Do you want policy makers to pay attention to your evaluations and recommendations? Would you like to see a law passed, a budget changed, a regulation issued, or an administrative process modified to reflect ideas that you came up with and published in one of your studies? It turns out that legislators and executives of Federal, state, and local governments and Boards of Directors and chief executives of foundations and advocacy organizations really do want to hear from evaluators. The trick is to learn what kind of information they want, when they need it, and how they want to get it. George F. Grob has spent most of his career producing studies for policy makers. He will take you inside the world of policy making and explain the practical aspects of engaging policy makers on your evaluations. This webinar is for evaluators with any level of evaluation proficiency, but with little knowledge or experience with how policy processes work or how to connect with the people that run our governments and influential organizations.
