Leveraging Past Contributions: Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) to Produce Actionable Evaluation Results

12-02-2019 07:43

Evaluating multi-level, system-wide implementation efforts can be challenging, particularly for ensuring methods will sufficiently capture the key drivers of success, and for producing useful results for leaders to plan next steps. The field of Implementation Science has much to offer evaluators in overcoming these challenges. One such contribution is the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), which focuses on five key domains important to the successful implementation of complex initiatives. In this session we will demonstrate how we used the CFIR to examine the results of a five-year effort to install universal trauma screening in one state’s child welfare system.
