Evaluating Partnerships: One Size Does Not Fit All

11-10-2010 13:46

This presentation will be part of the discussion on the NIEHS proposed decision-logic model for evaluating public environmental health partnerships on Saturday morning at 8 - 9:30 (November 13). The session title is Metrics for the National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS): Measuring Outcomes to Advance Partnerships for Environmental Public Health. This presentation will discuss the flexibility the proposed model provides to allow for assessment of differences in both the structure, intent, and process that exist within research/community partnerships. Differences in the structure of research partnerships with two different tribal communities will be discussed, and how both paths lead to positive and rich partnerships that are responsive to community needs in environmental health.
