Presentation Abstract: Calls for integrating academic, behavioral, and social-emotional services to meet the needs of students have increased in recent years. One approach gaining momentum involves integrated multi-tiered systems of supports (MTSS) that matches the focus and intensity of instruction to student needs based on data across all three domains (i.e., academic, behavioral, social-emotional). However, schools and districts vary in terms of their readiness to implement MTSS, current implementation levels, and student outcomes, among other variables. This demonstration will describe how one state is using a multi-method, multi-informant needs assessment to inform the identification and prioritization of needs within the context of implementing MTSS.
