A preliminary report of the initial development and assessment of a self assessment tool for cultural competence
This roundtable will provide an opportunity for individuals interested in promoting and teaching about cultural competence as part of a general preparation in evaluation methods to share philosophy, practices and challenges. The presenters will discuss evaluation theory and cultural competence from the perspective of teaching (Hernandez) and practice (Yuen) providing general guidelines and suggested practice from the perspective of successful and not-so-successful experience.
