Empowering Partners Through Evaluation Practice: What Does It Really Look Like to Implement Evidence Based Interventions to Increase Cancer Screenings in Clinical Settings?

The Utah Cancer Screening Project, which began in 2017, focuses on increasing rates of cancer screening in clinical settings through the implementation of evidence based health interventions. This project has been a collaborative effort between multiple partners across government, nonprofit, and health system sectors. The evaluation work highlighted in this session describes how a mixed methods design, on-site data collection, and collaborative dissemination of evaluation findings has been used to educate and empower project partners across diverse health systems.
