The Census Bureau’s OnTheMap application is a data visualization tool that evaluation practitioners can use in needs assessments and impact evaluations of programs that implement workforce development and economic development job creation strategies. The application provides measures of employment, skill level, and job flows of workers employed in jobs in an area (work-area) and workers living in an area (residence area).
