The evaluation standards call for evaluations to be useful, practical, accurate and ethical. Utilization-Focused Evaluation is a process that meets these criteria by promoting use of evaluation from beginning to end with a focus on intended uses by intended users. By carefully implementing evaluations for increased utility, this approach encourages situational responsiveness and adaptability.
