Webinar Description:
Evaluators know that sexual orientation is an important demographic characteristic in some studies. But most of the time, we don’t know how to capture this information. In this webinar, Joe Heimlich from The Ohio State University will demonstrate how to frame questions about sex and gender in survey research. Real world examples from a variety of studies in museums, zoos, parks, and science centers, will illustrate how data changes when respondents have inclusive response options. This webinar is an essential piece of every evaluator’s toolkit.
