Successfully developing and implementing policy initiatives requires a partnership between funders and evaluators. This session explored one such collaboration between the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky and the Center for Community Health and Evaluation. Presenters walked through the tools and methods used to create and implement a cohesive approach that invested in growing both the Foundation and grantee capacity as part of the Foundation's Promoting Responsive Health Policy Initiative. A policy spectrum was presented as a concrete tool that evaluators and foundations can use to focus their efforts and assess progress within multi-phase policy initiative.
