Slides from presentation on Friday morning, 10/26/12 8:00-9:30, on use of network analysis in the evaluation of a community based partnership. Presentation Abstract: This presentation will discuss the use of social network analysis in documenting the evolution of a community health partnership over the past eight years. The Brazos Valley Health Partnership was formed in 2004 to increase access to health care in a seven county rural area of Central Texas. A bi-annual survey, the network data has provided illustration and comparison of information and resource sharing among the partnership members over time. This presentation will introduce the initial use of network analysis for partnership evaluation and share with the audience the analysis for examining how network ties have increased in complexity over time as well as looking at how these ties have built upon each other by examining the network for multiplexity. Audience members will leave this session with a basic understanding of network analysis concepts and a better understanding of how network analysis can be used in the evaluation of community collaboratives or partnerships. #2012Conference #InterOrganizationalNetworks #HowTo #Collaborative,ParticipatoryandEmpowermentEval #communitypartnership #socialnetwork #SocialNetworkAnalysis
