Bio

heodore believes finding food insecurity solutions is a transdisciplinary effort. He understands the interconnectivity of food systems from production, processing, and distribution. Theodore understands the interconnections of access, marketing, price, and distribution of food. The systematic study of food systems required an approach that can combine politics and nutrition, culture and agriculture, producers, and consumers. Gathering evidence and data about the nonprofits and organizations addressing these issues also requires multiple skillsets.

The best way Theodore could help multiple organizations with their programs was through program evaluation. Theodore completed his undergraduate education in political science with a concentration in international relations at Queens College – City University of New York. He graduated in December of 2020 with a Master’s in Science in Evaluation and Applied Research from Claremont Graduate University.

Theodore has completed reports and projects on urban farms, food pantries, school food nutritional education surveys, and food waste reduction initiatives.
