Welcome

The Disabilities and Underrepresented Populations (DUP) is a topical interest group of the American Evaluation Association that brings together evaluators from many interests to improve evaluation efforts related to persons with disabilities and other vulnerable populations. Our members define those populations as broadly as “marginalized populations” or “hard-to-reach populations“ and as specifically as:

Adjudicated youth
Children in foster care
Persons of different language or culture
Persons over the age of 65
Persons who are homeless
Persons who experienced trauma
Wounded warriors

Every year our conference program includes topics which build capacity among evaluators to give all participants a voice in the evaluation process. We welcome anyone interested in promoting these efforts.
