10-23-2012 08:56

Poster shown at conference and the related paper. Field Experiments with Individual-Level Randomization: A Risky Venture? The poster and paper explore a case study of a field experiment with individual-level randomization designed to evaluate the impact of a day care program in Guatemala. The study was canceled because of high rates of failure to treatment assignment. This research explores the forces behind and consequences of the non-compliance in this study and draws some general conclusions for randomized field experiments.
