In this demonstration, the three presenters will each highlight a different technique for making data central to informing programming, policy, and funding decisions. As an example of how to make data more accessible and to increase its use, the first presenter will demonstrate an interactive graphing website that includes options for generating data fact sheets. The second presenter will introduce participants to a workbook that gives clear, step-by step instructions on conducting a comprehensive needs assessment. The third presenter will discuss working with communities to create local level evaluation plans during site visits using an evaluation workbook and based upon previous needs assessment and strategic planning documents. The presenters will emphasize how each tool can be adapted for use in different contexts, across a variety of fields, and among a diverse group of stakeholders. #Evaluation2009 #NeedsAssessment #Instruments #Alcohol,DrugAbuse, andMentalHealth #EvaluationUse #HowTo #2009Conference #Collaborative,ParticipatoryandEmpowermentEval
