Welcome to the OL-ECB TIG website.

Mission Statement.

Our mission is to support our members’ efforts to improve their evaluation capacity building performance. We do this by providing them professional development and networking opportunities so they can help organizations and non-evaluators establish and strengthen evaluative practices and learning.

  • OL-ECB TIG members include professional evaluators who are responsible for building the capacity of non-evaluators to understand and apply evaluation principles and skills and/or facilitate learning from evaluation findings at the organizational level.
  • Members represent diverse settings, including universities, consulting, government agencies, non-profit organizations, philanthropy, and business.

Learning At the Center of Organizational Success: How To Create and Use an Organizational Learning Plan

Do you hear the term “learning culture” and feel a mix of confusion and excitement? Yes, it sounds great, but what does a learning culture actually entail? And what types of practices, mindsets and behaviors actually support a learning culture? That’s where an organizational learning plan comes in. We know from literature and experience that organizational learning plans help organizations and teams facilitate a true learning culture. Are you curious to learn about what an organizational learning plan is, how to create one, and how to overcome challenges in actually using it with your team or organization?
