What is Community Psychology?
- Community psychology aims to create change in individuals and systems by focusing on contexts beyond the individual, including structural, socio-cultural, environmental & political contexts.
- Community psychology evaluators take an approach that is ecological, value-driven, action-oriented and rooted in social justice and empiricism. We use innovative, applied, and often participatory research methodologies that involve partnering with communities stakeholders as co-researchers.
