Renewable energy (RE) is a dynamically evolving sector experience rapid changes that create opportunities and challenges for scaling-up to meet the expectations of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the Paris Agreement on climate change the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the targets for the Paris Agreement on climate change.  Over the past decade, RE markets have experienced significant expansion through multiple technologies, seen substantial cost reductions, and major global flows of investments. However, this scale-up will need to expand by further multiples and global investments will need to double, propelling the future market into unchartered territory.  Where exactly is it heading?  This session will involve a demonstration of the Delphi Technique tools used to determine future renewable energy needs.
