Abstract:
Internal evaluators are often tasked with engaging a diverse range of stakeholders and are uniquely positioned to empower all levels of an organization to engage in the evaluation process. How can internal evaluators make all steps of the evaluation process more engaging, relevant and useful for clients, program staff, and executive leaders?
Internal evaluators from a social service nonprofit will share stakeholder engagement strategies that can 1) improve stakeholder ownership and 2) improve how stakeholders use evaluation results to inform continuous quality improvement. This poster provides an overview of a framework that embeds stakeholder engagement strategies in the evaluation process that can promote equity and advance the use of evaluation results within organizations. Attendees will learn how internal evaluation teams can raise the bar in facilitating engagement by shining a light for all stakeholders to shine throughout the entire evaluation process.
