Evaluation 2020

1334_Adapting feminist evaluation in complex change processes to highlight power dynamics and build shared identities toward transformation

Feminist Evaluation has continued to grow within the evaluation industry, and with that growth comes learning on how we must adapt our methodologies to the ever changing contexts of our programmatic and advocacy work. Within international development projects that seek to encourage transformational change in gender relations, Oxfam pushes to test methodologies to support change across informal and formal spaces and from the individual to collective actions. Measurement of all of these dimensions presses us toward more qualitative data collection methods, and to work on adapting methods for those we work alongside. Join us in conversation about your own methods of adaptation and emergent learning as we humbly implement the principles of feminist evaluation to learn what is working and what is not across all of our organizations and industries.
