Evaluation has the opportunity and, arguably, the responsibility to promote inclusion of varied, diverse stakeholders whose values and voices are often ignored in traditional evaluation contexts. By including diverse perspectives in our work, evaluators can redistribute power in both informal and formal structures, and increase the utility of evaluation. But while many evaluators support inclusion of diverse voices in evaluation contexts, the reality of identifying and including those voices can be daunting and can dissuade some evaluators from pursuing a more inclusive evaluation. This session seeks to address those challenges in a dynamic and interactive session using the Pecha Kucha method. Through the use of humor and an open learning environment, the session organizers intend to offer participants practical, useful tools and concrete examples to engage diverse stakeholders. A discussant well-versed in the challenge of meaningfully engaging diverse voices will offer her reflections from an international perspective. #NickyBowman #2012Conference #PresidentialStrand #Lesbian,Gay,BisexualandTransgenderIssues
