Data Seeking Data: Using what you have to get what you want

10-23-2013 11:10

Learn how evaluators from the Improve Group, Inc. have used survey and program data in focus group and interview settings to engage participants in the data collection process in a meaningful way and answer evaluation questions. Using data to collect data is a mutually beneficial process where participants actively interpret findings and discuss the implications for their program, and evaluators have the opportunity to collect qualitative data including context and insights from the participants. In this session, presenters will describe the process they used in two different evaluation projects focusing on how to prepare and present data to participants, who should participate in the process, what information can be gathered, and how you can use the data that was collected.
