Strong and collaborative client relationships are the foundation of a successful evaluation. Developing relationships with stakeholders can be time-consuming and challenging, but mutually beneficial. In our experience, in-person meetings that establish the clients’ project needs stimulate client buy-in to the evaluation. This early interaction allows evaluators to build trust, understand projects, and show investment in the evaluation. During this demonstration, we will share tips for developing collaborative evaluation partnerships. Attendees will learn how to educate as well as simplify the evaluation process for stakeholders. Strategies include project planning, client communications, and establishing standardized data collection guides. From this session, evaluators will gain skills to establish a framework for meaningful partnerships with clients.
