This paper describes a view of the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) data and evidence improvement efforts and actions in support of high-quality, ongoing and dynamic data and evidence for policy and performance decisions. It elaborates on the FAS Data and Evidence Governance (DEG) initiative’s goals, structure, framework, proposed data use value and an aspirational maturation towards a W.I.S.E. performance management model.
