JOIN US We would like to thank all the Disaster and Emergency Management Evaluation TIG members who submitted proposals for the 2011 AEA Conference.  We look forward to attending your presentations this October in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA!  We encourage awareness and involvement in emergency management and preparedness so that we all are prepared for the next disaster, whether it is a local, national, or global occurrence.  As part of that effort, we want to solicit your assistance.  We have marketed our TIG through this website, and by participating in the community egroups.  However, nothing works better than word of mouth.  Please join our effort by sharing information about our DEME TIG with others in the AEA evaluation community.  We are still growing and want to increase our membership each year.  With your help we can!

GET INVOLVED   There are several opportunities to participate in the DEME TIG.  First, members may become part of the leadership.  Second, members are invited to contribute to the website.  If you have resources, please send those to one of the current chairs, and we will add them to the Resource section.  Third, we are working to establish a discussion egroup so that we can begin to exchange ideas and respond to questions from the membership.  If you have expertise in a particular area, or have questions, we welcome you to contribute.
