Abstract: Evaluating programs in health professions education requires collecting feedback and input from a range of stakeholders (e.g., students, alumni, faculty and employers) and tracking alumni and faculty career success and productivity. This extensive data collection often results in an abundant, and possibly overwhelming, amount of information. How do we develop a coherent story or message from these data that can be clearly and concisely communicated to a variety of audiences? In this session, we explore innovative practices for reporting evaluation data in health professions education. Providing examples of how our reporting has evolved over our 10-year evaluation of a School of Nursing in California, we highlight some evaluation tools, reporting styles and favorite data visualizations we have used. We will also discuss how the school has used our reporting to communicate with different stakeholders.
