How can you involve stakeholders in making sense of evaluation findings? What can you do to help stakeholders translate evaluation findings into action? What happens when findings aren’t what stakeholders hope to hear? Evaluation is a critical strategy through which we can speak truth to power. Evaluators can help facilitate instrumental use of findings through being very intentional about presenting data and engaging stakeholders. This session will include practical tips and strategies for facilitating use of evaluation findings including scheduling and structuring stakeholder meetings, introducing and framing topics, using innovative ways to present data, discussion prompts and activity ideas, handling difficult conversations, and following through on action plans.
