Engaging stakeholders in evaluation data can be difficult. Yet we know that understanding and utilizing data is a critical vehicle in improving program outcomes and practices. This workshop will introduce the idea of “data parties” which consist of fun, engaging methods to review evaluation data and engage stakeholders in analysis. The session will give an overview of a data party conducted with the California statewide camping program evaluation. Participants will come away with understanding how to engage stakeholders in analysis and ownership; new tools for sharing data and creating conversation with lay audiences; and how to engineer the experience for clientele.#2017Conference
